Anastase DZUDIE, MD; FESC is a consultant cardiologist and lecturer of medicine at Buea Faculty of Health Sciences, Cameroon. He is co-chair of the board of the Clinical Research Education, Networking and Consultancy. In 2004, Dr DZUDIE graduated as an internal medicine physician in Cameroon. He further trained in general cardiology, cardiac echography and cardiac pacing at Louis Pradel’s cardiovascular hospital, Lyon-France. He is the chair of the task force on hypertension of the Pan-African Society of Cardiology, Regional Editor of the Cardiovascular Journal of Africa and editorial board member for several journals. He was elected as Emerging leader of the World Heart Federation in 2014. He has co-authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and given several international lectures. His current research focus include systemic hypertension and clinical pathways from heart failure to pulmonary hypertension due to left heart disease. He has special interest in training the next generation of clinical researchers in Africa.

I was born in 1982 in Aranda de Duero, which is a little village where I completed my studies, including secondary High School. After this, I moved to Valladolid where I obtained my Medicine Degree. I was graduated with the best average grade of my University. In the National Access Exam for Medical Internship I obtained number 160, which let me choose one of the best Hospitals to complete my training in Cardiology (Ramón y Cajal Hospital, Madrid). I finished it in May 2012. Apart from getting experience in all fields of the modern Cardiology, during my training years, I could obtained plenty autonomy in cardiac device implantation and I also could start my research experience, including a two months stay at Atherothrombosis Research Unit of Mount Sinai Hospital, NY with Dr.Badimon. Nowadays I am a member of the Cardiac Stimulation Department at Infanta Leonor Hospital in Madrid and I am participating in many research groups that let me have an active publishing activity.

Dr. Wang Wenru has over twenty years of professional experiences in clinical nursing and university teaching. Her major research interests include cardiovascular nursing and cardiac rehabilitation, developing psychometric measurement tools, chronic disease management, and nursing education. Over the past years, she has been awarded over 10 grants. Her research expertise covers quantitative, qualitative and mix-design methods. Dr Wang has authored two books, eight book chapters and has published over 60 peer-reviewed papers in international refereed journals and over 30 papers in local and regional scientific journals. She has presented her research at over 30 international conferences and has been recognised with several national and international awards for the achievement in her research endeavours. Dr Wang has supervised many honours students, master and doctoral students and has been the internal and external examiner for many PhD students.

Dr. He, male, born in March in 1973, comes from Huai’an City of Jiangsu Province. He, as a associate professor and graduate student tutor, obtained the medical doctoral degree from Soochow University in August in 2006. He has been selected as one of high level talents by Jiangsu Province and Suzhou City, respectively. I went on with study in Heart Institute of University of Ottawa, majoring in interventional cardiology in 2011, in which this project was supported by Health Bureau of Jiangsu Province. Dr. He had published over 30 articles and reviews in journals at home and abroad. Of these papers, 7 were indexed by SCI (E) and 2 by ISTP. The journal spectra include Clin Nucl Med, Nucl Med Comm, Clin Cardiol, Eur Heart J, Curr Med Imaging, and etc. Dr. He also authored a book entitled “Radionuclide myocardial imaging and coronary artery diseases in clinical practice”. In 2005, Dr. He made successful oral presentations at the 52nd Annual Meeting of Nuclear Medicine of USA and at the Congress of European Society of Cardiology (ESC), respectively. Dr. He ever won a Scientific and Technological Advancement Award from Jiangsu Province, Excellent Paper Award of Natural Science from Suzhou City and Science and Technology Achievement Award from Ministry of Education. Now, Dr. He is a reviewer for SCIE-indexed journal of Current Medical Imaging (based in Pakistan) and also responsible for a project supported by National Natural Science Foundation of China, and for 2 projects supported by Jiangsu Province. His research interests include prevention of cardiovascular diseases, mechanisms of atherosclerosis, interventional therapy of coronary artery diseases.

Dr. Emmanouil Petrou was born in Athens, Greece. He completed his specialty in Cardiology at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, Athens, Greece, and earned his Master’s degree in Health Management from the University of Piraeus, Greece. He has received a scholarship from the Hellenic Cardiological Society for Echocardiography at the Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center, Athens, Greece, and he is a doctoral candidate at the Faculty of Medicine, National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. He has participated as an investigator in various international clinical studies in the fields of Interventional Cardiology and Heart Failure. He is the author or co-author of numerous scientific papers in peer review journals, and has participated in a series of national and international congresses in the field of Cardiology. He also serves as a Reviewer and an Editorial Board Member in various medical journals.

Valerio G. Barauna is an assistant professor of Physiology and Exercise Physiology at the Federal University of Espírito Santo (UFES), Vitória-Brazil. He is co-chair of the board of the Clinical Research Education, Networking and Consultancy. Dr. Barauna graduated in Exercise Science at University of São Paulo (USP) in 2004. During this period he received a scholarship for on-year experience at the Wright State University, Dayton-USA. He obtained his master degree at the same University in 2006 studying the role of AT1 receptor in the cardiac hypertrophy induced by exercise training. In 2010 he obtained his PhD at the Heart Institute of the Medical School of USP (Incor-USP) studying the mechanotransduction of both ACE and the AT1 receptor to the blood flow (shear stress). He next moved for one-year Post-doc at the John Hopkins Hospital, Baltimore-USA, and then returned to the Heart Institute to another 2 years as Post-doc before becoming professor at UFES. He also received a fellowship for 1-month training at the University of Groningen, Groningen-NED. Dr Barauna has been the coordinator of projects supported by some of the most important agencies in Brazil, CNPq and FAPES. His research interests include biased signaling of the AT1 receptor in cardiovascular biology, miRNA in exercise training-induced cardiac hypertrophy and the non-hemodynamics effects of salt intake over smooth muscle and endothelial cells.

Dr. Salah Altarabsheh is a Jordanian born, united states trained, who is currently working as a consultant cardiac surgeon at Queen Alia Heart Institute in Jordan.
Salah had his advanced cardiac surgery training for two years in full time at the Mayo Clinic Foundation, Rochester, MN as well as one full year time at Texas Heart Institute, Houston, TX.
Salah had published more than 28 papers in reputable journals, and presented in several national and international conferences, and peer reviewing for a couple of journals, and had been awarded for his research achievements.
