I work as a scientific deputy of the chair of his Highness Prince Mishaal Bin Abdullah for Research on Endemic Diseases in Najran since 2010. I am the coordinator of a research team working in the clinical and research lab of microbiology department, College of Medicine, Najran University. My main research areas of interest are molecular techniques for identifications of human pathogens, antimicrobial resistance and epidemiological surveillance. Farzam Vaziri is currently Assistant Professor of Medical Bacteriology at Mycobacteriology and Pulmonary research department, Pasteur Institute of Iran. He earned his Master and PhD in Medical Bacteriology at Tarbiat Modares University, Iran. In his PhD thesis work he worked on the signaling pathways in Gastric cancer related to Helicobacter pylori CagA oncoproteins. I was born on 30-01-1983in Spain and I was graduated as Pharmacist in 2007 at the University of València, Spain. Next year, I had access to training in Clinical Microbiology through the Ministerio de Eduación y Cienciaat the University Clinic Hospital of Valladolid, Spain.Currently, I am working in this hospital as Clinical Microbiologist since 15-11-2014. During my four-year training in the hospital I achieved a Master’s degree in Health Sciences at the University of Valladolid, Spain in 2012. Renate is a senior biomedical scientist at Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH), the second largest teaching hospital in Ghana with five years working experience. After her senior high education in 2002, she decided to improve her skills and knowledge in Information Technology by undertaking six months certificate program at NIIT,Ghana.
As part of her ambition, she decided to branch to the health sector by applying to one of the renowned universities in her country, Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology(KNUST) to undertake a four year degree program in Bsc Medical Laboratory Technology. She completed her first degree in 2008 with second class upper division by presenting a thesis on a topic ‘Presence of Schistosomahaematobium ova in patients with acute appendicitis’ under the department of pathology.
She did a one year internship after completion and because of her interest in research, got the opportunity to join a reputable research institution affiliated to KNUST, KCCR. Kumasi Center for Collaborative Research Medicine (KCCR),is a German institution which are into lot of projects ranging from microorganisms to molecular biology and Cell biology.
After her one year stay at KCCR, she moved to KATH to work under the department of Haematology as a Biomedical Scientist because of her other interest in malignancies.Renate became senior after her three years working experience in the hospital. My name is Farid Azizi Jalilian, I am an assistant professor of medical Virology in the department of medical microbiology at Hamadan University of medical Sciences , Iran where I have been a faculty member since 2013.
I completed my Ph.D and Post.Doc at University Putra Malaysia, and my undergraduate studies at Azad and Tarbiat Modares universities at Iran, respectively.
