Doug Flint is a Professor of Human Resource Management at the University of New Brunswick.His research focuses on organizational justice, which is concerned with the fair treatment of individuals in organizations. He also does research in Downsizing and Strategic HRM. Doug has published in journals such as Human Resource Management Review, Personnel Review, and Psychological Reports. His work has been cited over 100 times. Doug Has consulted been a consultant to businesses for over 20 years. . He has consulted for large organizations such as Bell Canada, The Royal Bank of Canada, and The Hay Group; for governments such as the Canadian Ministry of Agriculture, the Canary Health Services in Spain, and the Solicitor General of Ontario; and for small organizations such as Excalibur Corp., the Waterloo-Wellington Autistic Society, and The Centre in the Square in Kitchener Ont.
Doug Flint’s primary research interest is in organizational justice. He has published papers examining the polarization of procedural justice; the role of affect and cognition in perceptions of procedural justice and the dimensionality of organizational justice. In addition, he has applied organizational justice concepts to human resource functions such as promotion, benefits, and performance appraisals. Aside from organizational justice, Doug has also published papers concerning the employment interview, the strategic role of human resources, downsizing, and turnover.

Burke is a Fellow of the Canadian Psychological Association. The founding Editor of the Canadian Journal of Administrative Sciences he has served on the editorial boards of over 20 journals. His current research interests include work and health, the sandwich generation, human frailties in the workplace, and women in management. He has participated in numerous management development courses and consulted with both private and public sector organizations on human resource management issues.

Dr. Chin-Ling Chen

Chin-Ling Chen was born in Taiwan in 1961. He received a B.S. degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Feng Cha University in 1991; the M.S. degree and Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at National Chung Hsing University, Taichung, Taiwan, in 1999 and 2005, respectively. He is a member of the Chinese Association for Information Security and Taiwanese Association for Consumer Electronics. From 1979 to 2005, he was a senior engineer at Chunghwa Telecom Co., Ltd. He is currently an professor of the Department of Computer Science and Information Engineering at Chaoyang University of Technology, Taiwan. From 2011, he is an Editorial Board member of six International Journals. His research interests include cryptography, network security and electronic commerce. Dr. Chen had published over 70 articles on the above research fields in SCI/SSCI international journals. And he also got 10 Taiwan patents. From 2006 to 2014, he got the reward of the distinguished researcher every year.

David Au was born in Malaysia, raised in Singapore, and educated in New York, Texas and Alabama, USA. After completing an interdisciplinary undergraduate degree in Healthcare in Developing Nations, he worked in Washington DC with the American Public Health Association and briefly with Physicians for Human Rights — a winner of the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize. A healthcare administration doctoral student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, his research related to Electronic Health Records has appeared in a number of peer-reviewed journals. His research interests include patient satisfaction, hospital financial performance, and medical tourism. He has been invited as a keynote speaker at an international conference on healthcare management and health information technology (HIT), and a consultant on HIT implementation at a women and children’s hospital in China. Stephanie R. Thomas is a Lecturer in the Department of Economics at Cornell University. She teaches undergraduate courses on economic theory, compensation and productivity, and supervises a variety of student research projects. Dr. Thomas is also Program Director of the Institute for Compensation Studies (ICS) at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. ICS is an interdisciplinary initiative that analyzes, teaches and communicates broadly about monetary and non-monetary rewards from work. In her role with ICS, Dr. Thomas develops and instructs in continuing education and Executive Education programs. She has completed research on a variety of topics including wage determination, pay gaps and inequality, and the quantitative analysis of employment discrimination.
